Where Does the Time Go?

As I sit here and reflect on the ornaments hanging on our Christmas tree, I can't help but feel that I am a lucky mom!

This has been one of my favorite ornaments and it is always placed near the top!  I remember that Christmas well as we were awaiting the arrival of our firstborn.  I had just resigned from 10 years of teaching kindergarten and I was nervous, scared, and excited to hold that baby boy.  Well, some things have not changed, I still love holding that boy and have the same feelings!!!

When I started this blog back in 2009, I wanted to share all the fun and educational things that I did with my son with other moms.  Being a stay-at-home mom, I loved being with my son.  Plus my husband said, use your "school stuff" or get rid of it!  I did well for a while documenting our journey together, but life happened and I got busy!  We moved to Northern California, welcomed our second son in 2012, and moved back to Orange County in 2014.  Since then, I went back to the classroom.   My goal this year is to document what I am doing in the classroom and share my creativity with other moms and teachers.

Mommy and Me - On the MOVE!

Register today for our next exciting session of Mommy and Me!  The theme will be "On the MOVE".  Get ready to move, sing and play with some of our favorite animals and vehicles!  We will spend the first four weeks exploring animals such as frogs and bunnies then move to trains, trucks and more.  Remember that each class begins with a simple thematic craft.  You will have fun with your child and take home some new fun ideas to do with your child.
When: Mondays, beginning April 14, 2014
9:30-10:20 OR 10:30-11-20

Who: 18 months - 3.5 years (infants welcome to join sibling)
